After almost a year of hard work, getting together estimates from architects, builders, plumbers, electricians, site workers, and fire and safety companies we had done our homework and were ready to send out grant requests.  Our request was answered by our friends at the Veterans Administration Grant and Per Diem but not before getting rejections from others who said  we could not possibly build the type of facility we had outlined for the amount of money we were requesting.  They told us it would cost twice as much as we had planned.  Well, we did it, and under budget!  So, as an answer to those who said it couldn't be done, we dedicate this "Flying Pig" weather vane in the hopes that future grant requests will meet with more confidence and support than we received.
